  • Our every-Thursday-night Wine & Culinary Adventures will be conducted all month at $28 per person. You can choose from two different starting times:6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The menu and wines are posted below.
  • Mother's Day is just around the corner.  It's on Sunday, May 11.  This is a popular event, so it's not too early to make your reservation.   The feast begins at 11 a.m., and the last reservations will be at 4 p.m.
  • Every Friday during May is a "Someday Day" celebration.  Buy $200 worth of wine, and your dinner for two is free of charge!  See the happy details below.
  • An awesome "Thanks for the Memories" wine dinner will be held on Saturday, May 31st.  It's a customer appreciation event to thank all of you for for business during the last 12 years.  It'll be a one-of-a-kind bash, so sign up now!  (Details to come)
  • We will be closed on Monday, May 26, to commemorate Memorial Day

Tuesday, May 6

The first of a month-long series of international menus

Tonight's class begins with Chef Claus showing you how to prepare shrimp scampi as an appetizer.  The entree is a classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, and dessert is a tasty fruit cobbler.  Wines will be poure3d with each course, because Chef Claus won't have it any other way.  From 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wine Bar at $37 per person.

Tuesday, May 13

If you enjoy consuming game birds, and would like to learn how to prepare them, come to this class

The appetizer is a spicy watermelon salad.  The endtree is a combination of both quail and pheasant, so you'll get recipes and advice on how to prepare them at home.,  Dessert is a variety of artisan cheeses.  Wines with each course, of course.  From 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wine Bar at $39 per person.

Tuesday, May 20

Can chicken fried steak be considered gourmet food?  When you cook it

like Chef Claus does, you bet it can!

The class will open with an appetizer of stuffed mushrooms.  Then Chef Claus will show you how to cook a chicken fried steak with a creamy mushroom sauce (instead of some gummy country gravy).  Dessert is Gareau Riche, a petite chocolate cake with a warm white chocolate center.  Wines will be paired with everything.  From 7 to 9 p.m. in the WIne Bar at $32 per person.

Tuesday, May 27

Come and collect three great recipes you'll want to add to your own

repertoire so you can do them at home

The appetizer is a piquant gazpacho with goat cheese.  The entree is coq-au-vent, or coq au vin in a pastry shell.  Dessert is Wienerbrodt, which is not "Bread from Vienna" but a wonderful almond pastry.  Wines will be whatever go well with each course.  From 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wine Bar at $35 per person.

Wine Tasting in the Wine Bar at 6 and 7 p.m.
Informal tastings will be held at each starting time. This month’s wines, a selection
chosen by our general manager, Jean-Paul Quattrone, will feature three very nice wines he thinks are exceptional.

Dinner in the Restaurant at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
After the wine-tasting part of the “adventure,” you’ll be seated at your party’s
individual table in the dining room for dinner.

You can do this every Friday during the month of May.  It's our way to celebrate "Someday Day."  That's the day people refer to when they promise, "I'll do that some day."  So if you've ever promised yourself that "some day I'm going to drink some great wine with an excellent dinner," now is the time.

This is a great chance to order that very special wine you love but seldom can afford, or to select a great wine you've heard about and always wanted to try.

Price will be $50 per person, which will include both the dinner and wines.  (Tax and gratuity are not included.)
